I was wondering when the desktop client would return, if ever. I can't play of the web browser ( I don't know why) I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java a bunch of times, I've tried different browsers but all I get is a white screen. I used to be able to play but I had to use the client, so I was wondering if that was ever going to come back and if so do we have any idea when?

Your browsers might not have the Java plugin enabed, try enabling it.

There should be a desktop client download somewhere on the forum. I believe Henning posted one, try that one.
