Every since I've been here, I've noticed that the downloadable client has been disabled in the Play thread. Why is this? Has there ever even been a DL client? When will it be back?

Yes there has been a DL client. For some odd reason, Maarten has removed the client from the official thread. At the time of this writing, the client is back as Kornslipkn has edited Maarten's post and added the client. The client is originating from Korn's website: korn2006.webs.com.
