Even great memories. I've learned that moaning about updates will not solve anything, mostly because that if he made updates at the rate people are wanting them they would be more half-assed then they already are. But also he's a great friend, I've followed his projects too long to just leave.

Also, I can't believe people can't comprehend he doesn't have the free time to update the server. Back in the day he would get on and talk, hang around and such but not work on updates, but if you actually pay attention these days he barely even logs into the forums, let alone skype. He opened this to provide people a free 1x 2006 emulation, I believe this is the only one.

Thank you for posting this Korn, and also thank you to Plural for paying to keep this open for us. I don't care about the updates or the game play, I care about having a place to talk and discuss about things with my friends.

I'd actually very much prefer Plural to hang out and chat with us instead of coding. Those were good times.

I haven't really seen any "hate" posts about Plural on here.. mostly just irritated people wanting updates for the server. I'm sure anyone that's really played any of his servers, DON'T hate him. Makes great servers, just wish he could commit a little more (I know he's doing as much as he can / feels like) but it's a free server, so I can't complain. I'd still be playing now if my account wasn't nulled!

Well maybe that's what sets us apart from other players, right?

Just because everyone else takes everything for granted doesn't mean we should too...

(Not trying to be rude)

It wasn't sarcastic. Games should be made for player enjoyment, not for profit.

Meanwhile at Jagex HQ.

CEO: "Why are we losing so many players?"

I don't think they got the memo, you should tell them Paper.

I see where you're coming from defending plural, but there are some things that you just can't excuse with having college. Jenove coded dozens of bug fixes and updates over 2 weeks ago, and yet plural is too lazy to simply update and implement those. It wouldn't take any significant amount of time or mental exertion whatsoever.
