camstudio is horrible, they have same graphics, but i have some problems with camstudio lol. such as sometimes it can't read what i recorded, or it wont save it and whatnot.

I've never had problems with camtasia and with hypercam the recording quality was shit for some reason

Sati, CamStudio and Camtasia are two entirely different pieces of software. CamStudio is an open-source software that is free to use. Camtasia on the other hand is one of the most expensive screen-recording softwares, developed by TechSmith. Camtasia is considered "high-end", at least...'higher-end' than say Hypercam or CamStudio.

yeah tell me, alot of people tell me that camstudio is better, but they have the same recording quality?

Yes, that's the encoder that Maarten is talking about. With the right encoder, CamStudio could very well be better than Camtasia or Fraps. It's open-source as well, another added bonus Big Grin
