Stay away from windows at all costs, even Mac OS is more secure.

Yes OS X is more secure than Windows, but lets not forget the Flashback Trojan that infected over 600,000 Macintosh computers. Nothing is immune to malware, not even Linux. Effectively, you don't even need to run an AV on Windows if you know what you're doing.

I've had no AV for a year and a half and I'm doing completely fine. =P
