Plural, if you're out there, if you see this message, I only ask one thing of you, and on behalf of our small but hardy community:
Keep Rune2006 alive (i.e. hosted)!
We have long since come to terms with the fact that this server will change hands or receive any updates ever again. And we're okay with that! We love and were all drawn to rune2006 for what it is, not for the idea of what might be. Somewhere you've got this server still being hosted after all these years, an amazing feat in itself considering a) the dwindling playerbase and b) the fact that you have otherwise moved on to bigger and better things. So I beg of you, keep the connection strong. There are so many of us who have spent countless hours grinding and making friends and cutting 20000 yew logs with a mithril axe for 80 fletching (oof) and don't wanna lose those memories and progress with a single unplugging of a cord. And there are even some veterans from years past who occasionally drop in to check on the server and reminisce for a while. You have brought so many fun experiences to my life and so many others because of this server, so please keep it up and don't ever stop!

Id do it also even though coding causes me a lot of pain, i'd still do it.

I'd love new stuff and we know all the players would but at this point I think there's not any hope that Plural will ever allow any further coding or different owners (based on the fact that it's been like 4 years since he first said he was gonna stop). So I'm just trying to keep the bare minimum.
