I don't think that they will be added, but I support.

It will definitely motivate everyone and there would be larger amounts of people grinding, which would mean more players overall.

No, thanks. I would rather not have people competing for resources that other people legitimately need and could not afford even with the vastly reduced price thanks to an overabundance of that resource and subsequently the goods created from it.

Another issue is bragging. People with capes of accomplishment tend to be proud of their ability to click, and the showing off and bragging quickly become old.

Too many people waste their time grinding to a goal either to achieve it and not know what to do afterwards, or to fail to achieve it and quit because the game seems dull due to the fact that they haven't advanced in any other skill or added any kind of variation to their routine.

Capes of Accomplishment are good on paper, but actual implementation is poor. People should train a skill to high levels because they like the skill, not because they want a cape.
