If yes, do you have enough money to support it for a long time?

lol, this server is just a hobby for him. He goes to college/uni right now so he doesn't have as much as time as before. He has enough money for it. i'm pretty sure it won't get shut down anytime soon. nor is he going to hand over his hard work. he had to build the server rep, and hes not gonna hand it all that over to some newfag. Hope that answers everything.

Does he have passion for this server? - Yes, just not as much as when it first started. He's busy but he'll get through it.
Can he support the server? - I'm sure he can. He's been running this server since April. Not only that, but his previous server, RS-Remake was online for 2+ years, reaching around 150 players at it's peak.
Will he hand it over? - No, I can assure you that he will not. As Doyoy has made clear, he won't hand over his work to anyone asking for it, especially if they're new. Maarten is a solo guy, and that's the way he operates. It has worked for him for a long time, he's had a history of problems when others try to become co-owners or admins.
Time will tell, but for the meantime - I hope these answered your questions.

Actually it was in March. This used to be a PK server so technically it was on in March.
OSPK and Rune2006 were un-related servers. While they may have shared the same domain, the servers were completely different. Hence, this current server (Rune2006) has been online since April, not March.
I'm not going to argue over one month, I just wanted to make the above mentioned clear.

Actually OSPK was more of a testing ground, and these are the exact same forums, which were first tested in FEBRUARY
