Everyone says Jagex has 400+ members. I always see 100 - 200 on Jagex parties atleast.

I don't know how many members JaGex has, but what I can say is that they definitely exaggerate their number count. RuneScape is slowly losing players, day by day. I really think that if they had brought back RuneScape in the 2006-era, things might have been different. The reason being is that we were all playing the 2006-era servers (2006Scape, Project RS06, Runerewind, etc.) and that's what we wanted. They brought back a 2007 version of the game.

We all know that they said that the 2007-era game backup was the only one they had, but do you guys really think that a massively multi-player game company wouldn't keep backups of every year... In fact, they should be keeping monthly backups! That's just common sense. But let's just say maybe they didn't have a backup after all...if Vault and his crew could make a half-decent server, then JaGex could do it better, in less than 1/10 the time. I'm sure a lot of people would be willing to wait 6 months or so just to play the 2006-era. I know I would be, 2006-era has always been a preference for me. While they wait, they could just scape on a 06 remake.

Jagex Ltd. is known for being scumbags.

The Oldschool staff team said they had no tools to edit the cache and add in Grand Exchange and/or Godwars. What a big lie. Look how many cache editors/ archive packers we have? Theres numerous cache editors that work on any revision. Jagex are just lazy and don't want to do anything. I support them for this. People complain that there is no updates but really? Read the damn terms. If we got 250k - 499k we get critical updates. It took them 2 weeks to finally man up and say that they "made" a cache editor/packer.

Yes Jagex is losing players more rapidly than mmorpgs lose members. I heard a couple months ago that the current members were 469k, before eoc it was 1mil+. Jagex is losing more money than they spent. I would give them a few months to a year for them to realize they don't have money and let them loose coders. They spent to much money on programmers. They release content that are useless and only for veterans.

In about a few months the subscribers will reach 200k then I think that's when Jagex will truly see "power to the players".
