4. Click Java

Dsun, i had to select The lowest IDK why? and the downloadable client has stopped working, can you help me by any chance?

The lowest one for me is medium. Didn't you get it fixed? What's the problem with the client?

the client isn't a jar file anymore for some reason? it's just a blank document. here, ill take a pic of it right now

and it was a .Jar file before

3. Select Java

No matter how BS a Java update is, you SHOULD update it. Why do you think they release so many updates? It's because Java is one of the most vulnerable programs in the world. That's why if you don't need Java, then never install it. Every day new vulnerabilities are found within Java and then their developers work to patch and give an update. Java drive-bys, callers, root-kits, Trojans, etc.

The fix for the "Application Blocked" is really easy. Just use the downloadable client OR go to your Start button > click on Search > Type in "Java" > Select "Configure Java" > Click on the "Security" tab on the top > Put the bar all the way to the bottom (Medium).

That's it. Plain and simple.
