I'm not really sure how macs work but try opening the file with Java. Or try the webclient. I'm assuming you have the latest Java.

I run the client on Macbook pro and it works fine, make sure your Java is up to date

Well, the desktop client just won't open. and when i try the web client, first it says: java blocked for this website (but i get that with other websites too) then when i press "trust" it says: the application cannot be run

Alien Alex7, would you like me to assist you via Teamviewer? If so, contact me on Skype (dragonsun06). If not, then I'll try my best to help you on here, even though it would be much tougher and it would take much longer, unfortunately.

I had the same problem too for about a month. You have to adjust the security settings to the lowest possible, or else it see's this client as a danger and doesn't let you load it.
