Coding - Lysander - 02-21-2014 12:29 PM Hey, I know that Java is a hard place to start, but where would one go to start to try and script. I already know of Scratch, but anyone else have any suggestions? I want to work for a coding place someday, maybe even here ! RE: Coding - Micah - 02-21-2014 01:40 PM go to the book store / library and pick up a book of the language you want to learn. If you want to learn online there's PDF books, and also interactive stuff like Code Academy RE: Coding - p u r e - 02-21-2014 07:41 PM I have to do scratch for school haha, its so lame, I just tune out an listen to music RE: Coding - Lysander - 02-21-2014 09:10 PM Oh lol, well thanks for the tips! Edit: Holy wow I love the CodingAcademy thanks so much! RE: Coding - rsc - 02-21-2014 10:54 PM I've heard a lot of good stuff about codecacademy too, although I haven't tried it much before. Good luck on learning to code, and tell me if it fit your expectations so I could try it out RE: Coding - Doyoy - 02-22-2014 01:02 AM ask dsun, he has a coding website and i am 100% sure we will help you over chat or whatever. He started to help me, but i lost intrest. Trust me, he is an awesome teacher. i've had some book but it's too complicated. Just go with dsun until you get the hang of begginer stuff RE: Coding - Lysander - 02-22-2014 11:43 PM Ok, these all work lol! I'll try to learn from Dsun and Code Academy . Thanks! |
