okay now try turnign down the java security settings. open java in control panel you can search it in your windows search bar. once you have it open go to the security tab and turn the security setting to medium (should be the lowest setting) if you cant find the java control panel. just google "turning down java security level"

doing some research, ill get back to you asap. also can you check if other java apps are working for you?]

http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
use this and make sure your java is working properly

Also from what im reading online, this is a problem for a wide array of people who installed the latest java and isn't isolated to any 1 type of java application.
