going for 85 slayer

so iv decided I'm gunna go for a whip, I was wondering if anyone had tips to help me get up there this is my first time on rs actually giving slayer a full go and don't know what task to take and what not to any input will help, thanks all

any herb drop you get just take it and stay consistent, all I can give you after getting 91 slayer myself on osrs.
