His name was Suma...
He was the best dog anyone could ever have... But then something fell on him... And he developped a head trauma... He was paralyzed from the neck down... We took him to the vets... They said they could save him... After a week of treatment... He came home... Before his last operation..; Which would supposedly have cured him for good... I cherished those moments with him, as I knew they could be our last... And sadly enough, they were... The next day I got a call from my parents saying his condition had gotten worse, and he had to be put to sleep... since there was nothing the doctors could do to save him... He was 2 years old... All those long walks left unshared. All those laughs, his barking at night, him killing mice, him peeing on the neighbour's lawn, all the things he did daily with me... Gone... Cherish what you have, because when you realise... It just might be too late... Here's the last picture I have of him... He was one of my best friends... The first pictures (My favorite) And unfortunately... the last one ever... R.I.P little one, I miss you... If you're here to insult, just get out now... Do you have any similar stories to share? I'd be more than happy to hear them... |

I feel the same way as you do, i literally am crying in the inside. IF this was to happened to my dog, i would die.
It's the fear that brought me back.

I'm sorry to hear that Korn. I know how it feels to lose a pet that was so close to you.
My dog died about a month ago. She was 13 years old. She was a slightly overweight yellow lab getting to the point where she was too old to support herself and she would lose control of her bladder most days, so she was put to a better place. I will never forget her time with us. From the first day my family picked her up to the last minutes I spent with her before she went off to the vet to be put down, I will never forget. I know that we will see each other again in the future, and I know she will be waiting excitedly to lick my face when my time comes and we meet again somewhere on the other side. These feels today have been overwhelming. |
