when quests are added, are our dragon scims and rune plates going to be ineffective until we complete the respective quests??

Hmm.. Well since this is supposed to be like Runescape in 2006, I think it's fairly safe to assume that once those quests are released you will need to complete them to equip certain items. But that's assuming that these quests will eventually be implemented. =P
