Honestly, I find Hypercam a bit weird. People say it sucks but then you see videos in 720p HD on YouTube that have been recorded with Hypercam. Many videos are 480p which is not too bad, but of course 720p HD is preferred. I don't understand why people dislike Hypercam if, with the right settings, you can get the same average quality of Fraps or Camtasia.
The one thing I don't like about Hypercam is the junk that it tries / tried to install. There's something fishy about the adware and crap that it prompts you to install. I'm not sure if it does that anymore though, lots of people have complained. "Not all those who wander are lost"

More like 3. They get paid to do it so :/ |

when i downloaded hypercam, they didn't make me install anything.
