First go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ to know what your current IP is. Don't forget to memorize it. Now, turn off your router/modem for 5 minutes. Turn it back on and check whether your IP has changed or not. If it hasn't changed, you'll have to call your ISP to help you change your IP. Or if you prefer, you could Google some tutorials.

No I don't have a dynamic IP, and there ain't no way I'm messing around with my IP just for one game, that's ridiculous. The programmers need to get there shit together if that's what it takes.

try downloading hotspot shield, its a vpn like spotflux but it worked better for me when i had this problem
