if 76% of the OSRS community voted for a grand exchange it's already beyond hope lol, there's not enough old players on there who remember the game when it wasn't fuckin terrible. I myself never wanted to give Jagex another dime so I played for about a month til my accounts got banned for botting bananas to pay for it.. anyways it just sucks to see it go downhill like that. RS3V2?

Not that I really care about OSRS, but if I cared I'd say I'm not happy with it.
It makes merchanting in general too easy in the aspect that you can save alot of time and make much money with relatively no effort (offline trading). It will mostly benefit merchanting clans who will manipulate the system to their benefit by buying up very large bulk of items to increase the price drastically and to make them crash after dumping them. The people who lose in this are usually those who are not really involved but try to jump in with the mass hysteria of rising items mislead by the slowly updating graphs and are usually too late so they end up having bought alot of an item after it was rising a while, then suddenly crashing shortly after and not being able to sell them so they are forced to either sell them for almost nothing or wait out till the item rises again and trapped with the bulk not being able to invest their money in something else. Meanwhile some merch clan might decide to start buying up the same item when it's reaching a relatively low price repeating the proces. Usually the merch clans win with this system and a few lucky players who take a risk on the right moment. I remember an extreme case from a few years ago player Chessy018, who used the GE to merch numerous items and rares making billions in no time. It is useful though to obtain some annoying items like for example needed in quest, but that takes away the challenge and devalues the whole adventure I think and making the quest less interesting. I know most people will disagree with this since they like it when things are easier to do, but since we're on a 1x remake I also expect a few people who can agree with my point of view. |

you people all talk garbage. People didn't ask for OSRS they asked for pre-eoc, but jagex said 07 take it or leave. And the ge was originally implemented in 07 you idiots how the fuck is that eoc content? You talk so much shit thinking you know the game. And besides the trading post and trading other players in general is absolute garbage a waste of time. You could go do something else like boss and make much more then just sell off ur junk items to people.

OSRS needs the GE, it's pure convenience, simple.
