This is just terrible, retarded trigger happy cops shot a man's dog. The dog shown no signs of being aggressive, but scared. They even have non-lethal alternatives for handling this situation. (Pepper spray) But no, these un-trained, pigs of cops shot the dog right in front of his owner. With the recent events of the US spying on it's citizens, even other country's. Now this? I can now say that i'm not proud to be American. And of course, they will suspend him for a few weeks (With pay of course) then let him resume his duty's, fuck cops |

honestly, view it from the police perspective. Yeah it's sad to see an animal be shot and killed, however, from their perspective it's an animal that could have potentially been a threat. Animals aren't like humans where you can tell what they're about to do. For all we know that dog could have bit the officer and causes a lot of harm to the police officers or other civilians due to its owner being in "harm". Plus, not to mention it was a big ass dog. It's still sad to see it being killed, don't get me wrong, but you have to see it from their perspective too.

Yeah ik the officer shot him because the saw him as a threat but this never would of happened if they didn't hand cuff the man in the first place, he was not doing anything illegal. He could of calmed the dog down and it never would of happened. |

it's not police brutality, it was a threat being taken care of. The officers job is to go to work and to return home safely. Plus, we don't know the whole background story. For all we know he could have a warrant for his arrest and that's why he's being hand cuffed

For all we know he could have a warrant for his arrest and that's why he's being hand cuffed The officers job is to also solve the problem with as least casualties as possible. This could've easily been solved with just asking the dog's owner to make the dog leave. Or with the before mentioned pepper spray. This is just another case of a police officer making rush decisions, which sadly happens more and more every year. |
