I am using the web client version of the game and still says the error message in the top left. How do I fix this for the web client version?

Did you actually refresh the page using the refresh sign or you just reloaded the page? (From your browser cache?)

I have the same problem, I deleted the .Rune2006v2 folder, and cleared my cache and cookies. I went to play and it still said error, when I try to refresh with the button it says "Before leaving this page make sure you are logged out!" "Are you sure you want to reload the page" I click yes and nothing happens.

I'll probably figure it out on my own soon enough anyway.

Completely uninstall Java and then do a fresh install. It should work.

It was an error with where the client was hosted so it should be fixed now

Edit: nevermind, looks like the web client is removed.
