Application blocked by security settings.

The message above appears instead of the regular permission to run JAVA.
Only happened since i downloaded JAVA update 5 mins ago...
What I have tried, but failed:
-Deleted and re-installed JAVA

Isn't this because your personal settings under security are on high? If you turn them down it should work this happened to me awhile ago

How?

I'm on a Mac I don't what you're using but it should be similar. I go to system preferences, then I click Java and it opens up your java control panel. Once there click the security tab and you change it from high to medium or low. I'd try switching it to a lower security level like medium.

Hmm, seems like I'm getting this error too due to my Java being out of date or expired. I wouldn't advise the above advice as it was blocked for a reason. :/

Nevermind, did some research. The above advice is fine.
