I have an idea for voting.

So a lot of people don't vote. I can tell you that i don't vote because i'm too lazy to go on the fourms and find the link then blah blah blah. So i was think that everytime you open rune2006, a window should appear so you can vote. Just an idea.

Would be annoying, so maybe a way to disable it for those who don't wanna vote?

How about an in-game command like ::vote which will open up another window to vote on?

great idea!

the only reason i say the popup window is because i'm too lazy to do ::Vote i'd rather it just be there ready for me you know? i like the ::vote thing but i think some people are so lazy they wouldn't even do ::vote unless the window poped up. Like if there was even like 1k reward for voting then i think that people would vote even if they are lazy but nooo plural has to be stubborn lol

i've been playing this game for a couple of months i'm like, the lowest level ever lol trust me, im laazy.

I'd like to think that copying other ideas that work isn't all quite a bad idea.

I'm not going to list the RSPS in question, but what they do is have a ::vote command that opens the voting website open. Here's the trick: it opens the vote command with your own unique URL, telling the server which account voted for the server! Using that info, the server could then reward you with a prize and I am rather fond of the prize they give you: 1.5x XP for 30 minutes. It's a nice little kicker and it isn't hugely impacting gameplay. The URL prize is IP-based so you could then give out your vote page to friends, which not only encourages you to share the game by word-of-mouth but increases the # of votes a server gets.
