My latest works of... art?

So, I want to do some showing off.

You should get more attention tbh, everyone always post on my thread and don't realize they have you here.

I have a little request - a bit different. I'd like a signature of my name over a disgusting melancholic urban landscape... Preferably beaten down and poor looking, and I'd like it in rain or overcast too (if not, I'm sure you can just mess with the hue and all that to get a similar effect).

You can add your own taste to it and all that, but try and keep it as described, disgusting and melancholic

Well, that was interesting. A bit difficult to catch, but I like my challenges.
There you go, Mr. Cooper:



Now, the image is a photo taken 3 years after WW2 in Berlin. I tried messing around with color maps and such, to give it more of a melancholic/destroyed feeling. I used your advise, and added in some rain textures. For the finishing touch I added in some stains to give it a vintage feeling. I don't care if you use it or not, I had fun making it, and for that, I thank you.



Or use this one instead. Should be Chernobyl pictured somewhere in the 21st century.

And be honest, if it's utter shit then just say so. All opinions are welcome.

Ha, no they're both far from shit. But I do strongly prefer the second one you posted. Thanks for the back-story on both as well

I didn't know what you wanted on the signature so I just added that anime chick you mentioned in Korn's thread. Hope it's fine.

I like your style that you use when you make these, the more unique the better.
