Isn't Linux and Mac both Unix? Also essentially MAC OSX is a linux distro. Not only that, there are loads of linux distros so putting them all under 1 is pretty much impossible. I would say it's harder to work with Linux because everything is primarily made for windows, although there are linux versions too, companies don't focus on it enough. Stability wise and functionality Linux is a lot better than windows. MAC OSX for me is just an expensive linux distro for which you need expensive hardware but not particullary better than let's say Ubuntu. Not only that, I hate how they also keep everything closed source...

So I guess linux wins overall but everyone uses windows as it is commercialised and everything is primarily made for it.

Mac is a Unix distro, but there are still users of Unix(the Base)

They may have a nice design but the hardware itself is very overpriced.
Also I like Ubuntu OS over MAC OSX to be honest.

You can get a PC from another brand and get 4 times better specifications with it. I am not kidding on that one.

indeed, you can also just build your own pc for a much better deal. There is a video a tech reviewer did paying hundreds less for a pc with better specs than the mac he was reviewing. I'll find the vid and post it here
