I'm new and I just logged in to explore around. Is their anyone playing online, because really its so empty and everytime I check who's online, I end up being the only one. The game looks really almost perfectly 2006 with all the content such as 1xp rate. Does anyone play?

Yep, if you came online 2 hours earlier, you would've met 5 other players
