I'll take action agaisnt people breaking rules such as swearing. That action may be a mute, which in this case it was. He obviously went overboard. If I see someone curse ingame because they just died, i'll tell them sorry and to watch their mouth. Obviously i'm not going to ignore people who curse, if I don't see it then report it. If someone can't control themselves from simply not typing letters on their keyboard then they should just ignore them. If they swore at Napkin then they'd be muted as well, but they didn't swear.Fuck, fuck, and fuck. That's not for me to decide, I take care of ingame matters. When someone swears ingame and I don't do anything about it, then what am I a moderator for? it IS a rule isn't it? 99% of the time I warn someone for cursing it doesn't happen again (As far as I know) Also, I have no idea why the censor was removed, ask Plural that. I'm just doing my job. |

actually plural did not want the sensor removed, but it came with the source and he's too lazy to put it on.

(10-15-2013 11:01 AM)Micah Wrote: if I don't see it then report it.Okay! No problem! These guys broke the rules: Oh my, that text looks awfully familiar. Could it be from your Bronze War video? In other words, you were right there and witnessed people breaking the rules. Why weren't they muted? Because afterall: (10-15-2013 08:08 AM)Micah Wrote: it doesn't matter if it was provoked and or a joke. For the sake of time I'm not going to post more screenies of people swearing. I think you understand what I'm saying. |

Are you serious? You're this mad at me for trying to enforce a rule? -.-'
If you want I just wont enforce any rules yeah? If you're this angry over the rule take it up on a poll or talk to Plural about it. I actually didn't notice the text being said during the bronze war, if you're that offended you could make an actual player report. Sorry for moderating guys /s |

The rule existed during that war yet you did nothing about it. You can't just decide to punish some people and let others go. I'm not angry at all, I still believe muting anybody for swearing is ridiculous. Either you don't enforce the rule, or you ALWAYS enforce it. That's your job isn't it? You didn't watch your own video after you posted it? Didn't you notice the text as you were editing the video to add music to it? |

Well sorry if people get by, I'm not always looking at the chat. Things like player reports on the forums I always see, but I was serious about that poll thing, if you want the rule removed it could probably happen. |
