Rich Get Richer Poor Get Poorer

How are the poor getting "poorer" in this situation?

Umm to tell the truth, yesterday: i went from 11k to about 5,6m
i dont see what you mean by the porr getting poorer

it wasnt a bug abuse, alch prises were just larger than what stupid people sold items for, learn how the economy works.

wait what? it's not bug abuse? the alch prices being triple what they are supposed to be isn't a bug in the coding? If it isn't a bug in the coding then what is it...

That's totally bug abuse.. Learning how the economy works has absolutely NOTHING to do with it. Quite frankly you might want to review your economics before you claim that this isn't a gamebreaking bug.

I've got a few things things to remark to this.
We must not forget the players you mentioned are still the modest active players who currently play this game.
About 9m was made in total of which around 3 mil was already taken out. I think this is rather a post of jealousy than anything constructive. You say that I have no action taken against them but how would you even know it? What I do with them is a private affair and should never be discussed with the community. This excessive amount of money you talk about is very small compared to the total economy and what they gained legitly. Technically viewed the players do not get poorer. In run escape, if you play, you get richer. That's how the game is set up. You suggest them to be whipped for a bug that was not even a bug but a wrong value. The damage is next to none. I'll continue to take actions the way I planned it and you have no affair in deciding how this gets handled.

that's what ive been telling them that it wasn't a bug and everyone mad a big fuss about it because of the the people that were jealous that didn't do the same as they did .

I aupport this Jagex would of banned them for a week or just removed their items. I recommend plural to feet their accounts and who knows hey may know more money alch. Inb4 it's to late.

Dj Tim shouldn't te promoted to mod if you tell m. No wonder he was busy and thing to get 55 magic. If I would known this I would of reported. If dj Tim knew his which I know he does. Who knows what else he could be hiding he probably got his 99 thieving by exp bug...

Just because there is 1 wrong value in an item table doesn't mean you can cheat your experience. And still I hold my point. Nothing really bad has happened.

Plural, you say you took action, but these bugs were badly abused after they found out about it, normally rules should be followed that bug abusers get banned or wiped of the money they made, You mention how they're our "modest active players" well quite frankly, iv'e played non stop the past 1-2 weeks and i have not seen the players who abused it on as much of the likes of the other players. (not that it should even change the way you make a decision). How can you even dare put "jealousy" into consideration when i have my fair share of money? The fact is, if they abused and got to keep their money (no matter how big or small) then why don't i get to have the same, or all the other regular active players that play this game? How is that fair, giving those few players more wealth only allows them to get higher levels faster then anyone else because you've gave them greater wealth over everyone else, how is that also fair?
Also the over value price of an item is called a bug because its not what the normal game should produce, with people abusing this you get bug abusers.
And btw plural, tim spent 1.5m on magic, then used the bug to get his 1.5m back, even though he so proudly says he has 5m+ bank, he wants even more because he can't back himself up and you seem to think thats fair?
You say you feel bad for punishing people maarten, but sometimes you need to clear banks or whatever you decide, to keep the game pure and prevent future cheating, otherwise whats stopping people from duping or exploiting other glitches seeing as there will be no ban or wipe to them. If you don't like taking action on them then possibly recruit staff who would easily do it for you, for the better of the server.

Also Micah, the idea around the poor getting poorer is that the players that gained wealth can overprice any other player into buying resourcs to get higher stats in skills such as crafting smithing magic etc etc, these skills allow the rich to gain even more money, whilest the poorer people would remain low stats, and when time comes that they need the resources to get the high levels it will be harder for them to gain and therefore getting less skills higher and staying a lot more poorer then everyone else. (But all this was the not main part of the topic anyways)

sighh slayerz dj tim made around 6m cash and got around 6k bloods and 10k deaths from 99thieving and he alched 100chaps he then dropped 1mill so that 750k he got and then dropped (no 1 picked it up) he should be wiped? the 250chaps i alched even after i gave plural cash back just because i got to do the glitch and you didn't ur raging? u scammed driman for over 2mill ontop of that u were in rabbit killers part of the biggest duping and bug abusing clan on projectrs06. ur just pissed that we are rich and ur not if u were able to abuse it then you would to ive done nothing wrong by alching the chaps i made to get myself 63crafting once i was 63crafting i made my self body's even though the bug was still around just get off the forums
